The Project
Complete graphic design for a special edition of Metallica. This project consisted of creating a CD packaging (digipack), an illustrated booklet, and a series of promotional posters. The challenge was to visually transcribe the power and 'Heavy Metal' aesthetic of the band through complex photo manipulation, marked typographic research, and strong graphic consistency across all media.
Goal
Capture the visual and sonic DNA of Metallica to offer a physical object (packaging) that is an extension of their musical universe.
